    Under the leadership of Archbishop Thomas Wenski and Superintendent Kim Pryzbylski, the Archdiocese of Miami serves 34,390 students at 66 schools

    Archbishop Wenski

    Archbishop Wenski, born in West Palm Beach on October 18, 1950, grew up in Lake Worth, Florida where he attended Catholic school at his home parish, Sacred Heart. He studied at St. John Vianney Minor Seminary in Miami and later at St. Vincent de Paul Major Seminary in Boynton Beach and was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Miami on May 15, 1976.

    On September 3, 1997 Father Wenski was ordained to the episcopacy as an auxiliary Bishop in Miami. Six years afterwards Bishop Wenski assumed the role of the fourth bishop of the Diocese of Orlando where he remained until he was installed as Archbishop of Miami on June 1, 2010.
    In addition to English, Archbishop Wenski speaks Haitian Creole and Spanish fluently. He also has a limited knowledge of Polish, the language of his immigrant father and Polish American mother. The archbishop’s episcopal motto is “Omnia Omnibus”, which means “all things to all men”.
